In a world full of voices, some are heard less. This Young Lions Brief was set out to explore how we can help keep people with Down Syndrome stay safe from sexual harm. YourOwnVoice is an explorative case study into how technology can be used to support persons independence. YOV is built on the insight of when people with Down Syndrome get overwhelmed or confused they rely on self talk. They vent feelings out loud in order to make sense of their daily life events.
